Why do good employees leave?

A study came up with this surprising finding: If you're losing good people,
look to their immediate supervisor.
 More than any other single reason, he is the reason people stay and thrive in an organization.
And he's the reason why they quit, taking their knowledge, experience and contacts with them.
Often, straight to the competition.

"People leave managers not companies," write the authors Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman.
 "So much money has been thrown at the challenge of keeping good people - in the form of better pay, better perks and better training –
 when, in the end, turnover is mostly a manager issue."

If you have a turnover problem, look first to your managers and supervisors.

Beyond a point, an employee's primary need has less to do with money, and more to do with how he's treated and how valued he feels.
Much of this depends directly on the immediate manager.

最近公司有点变动
做了好几年的同事离职 ;做了一年多的也离职;做了两年多的也在【AM】着新工作了
全部都和以上所讲的有关系,我个人觉的上面所讲的有点道理,但公司的制度也有关系
讲真的啦,福利好的公司谁会走

我从2007年就在这间公司就职,也是我到新加坡的第三份工作
说短不短;长不长,6年多了
以前的福利蛮好的,花红3-4个月,当时对我还是 『小妹妹』 XD 的我来讲很好咯
2008那年去了香港旅行,可是后来就没了
有可能是公司的生意有下滑的现象吧! 相对的花红也逐年在减少


我部门的HOD谈不上很好,也不至于很坏
我也不想谈他,谈到他我会有火
一句话 【有他讲没你讲】 况且我都唔够他讲!

来谈谈我公司的制度



谈上班时间

进工的时候也不用打卡,工作时间是 
8.45am – 5.00pm (Mon→Fri) ; 8.45am - 1.00pm (Sat)
后来因为某些员工不只搞到要打卡, 工作时间也变成 
9.00am – 6.00pm (Mon→Fri) ; 8.45am - 1.00pm (Sat)
工作时间变长了,但没有超过人力部的规定所以我们也只好默默的接受 T.T
我不记过了多久又变成现在的
9.00am – 5.30pm (Mon→Fri) ; 9.00am - 1.00pm (Sat)



谈午餐时间

刚进工的时候老板还会和我们一起吃午餐,老板对吃饭时间也不会太过在意
员工可以自己安排次序,一个小时到一个半小时还是可以接受
所以很多时候我们都会到shopping 吃好料,来回的车程+用餐的时间大概在一个半小时左右
后来也因为某些员工,老板把吃饭时间规定在1.00pm – 2.00pm ,那时真的是超【火】
不能去shopping吃之余,还得吃最靠近的食堂里的菜尾
因为公司附近很多工厂,好料都被12点吃饭的人抢光光了
然后有人反应给老板知道,我也不记过了多久才变成现在的 12.30pm – 1.30pm

谈年假

还好这个变动不大,一直以来都是14
到后来我有了妹仔屎多加两天childcare leave
6年多里的 Unpaid leave 从没有限制→顶多三天→没限制 (我每年一定会用到)
以往在星期六onleave的话都是扣半天的薪水,2013年开始都扣一天了 
(o.O) 这是怎么搞的咯.....

以上所提到的只是冰山一角而以,我到底该不该继续为它服务呢?
